Picture a country with a large extension, bears, forests, two official languages and one of the places that receives exchange students the most. If you thought Canada, you are right! It may hold unforgettable experiences for you, though. Extreme sports, quality of life, lots of cultural activities and balance between man and nature, with activities for any season of the year: Canada and its people know very well how to adapt and live with the -30°C in the winter.
I lived in Canada for three months in 2010, in Vancouver. While there, I went to Ottawa (the capital), Quebec, Montreal and Toronto. I also visited the Rocky Mountains, Victoria (capital of British Columbia), Vancouver Island and Whistler. From this post on, I would like to share some of the experiences I had in these places, starting on the east – Quebec – and ending on the other coast, Vancouver.
The country has two official languages: English and French. I had no trouble communicating in English in the French part.
